Ever attend a conference or seminar, take a look at the schedule, and say, “Meh – I think I’ll skip this session. None of the topics apply to me.”? We’ve eliminated that problem by going directly to the source: you. We surveyed Style Collective members to see what influencers just like YOU need most in a conference, from topics to activities, and beyond. We’ve packed the days with inspirational talks, relevant learning sessions, networking with fellow sisters from across the nation, and lunch and learn opportunities (and coffee and ‘gram breaks, too!). And you wanted a par-tay, so on Saturday, our VIP ticket holders will be welcomed back to the Cannon Room for an intimate get-together!

Learn how switching up mediums and connecting in new ways can help you stand out from the influencer crowd. Taught by a top 10 podcast host; Courtney grew her podcast, Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous, from and idea to a top 5 in less than a year! In this workshop, you will learn why you should start a podcast, how to write your intro for all video/audio mediums, find guests, navigate pitches, and increase awareness so you can get on the top charts! These techniques can also translate to YouTube videos, live streaming, and stellar blog content!

Annie is the Founder of Style Collective and the Becoming Fearless podcast. Style Collective is a platform for female influencers to connect, grow, and learn how to be successful bloggers and entrepreneurs. The Becoming Fearless podcast is about finding your authentic self and living your values to become the person that you were meant to be. Annie connects women from all over the world through community and empowers them to do what they love through leadership and influencer education.

Jessie Undorfer

Workshop Teacher

Jessie is a certified 10-year teaching veteran with a master’s in Education and director of Membership & Education for Style Collective. With a specialty in Exceptional Student Education, she understands the need for varied educational experiences for everyone. Through her curriculum development for Style Collective e-courses, the educational library, blog posts and resources, she helps teach women how to harness success in the influencer industry. She also writes for her personal blog, The Miami Rose.

Courtney Bentley

Workshop Teacher

Courtney’s talks, workshops and interactive trainings have inspired women’s organizations, conference attendees, yoga and fitness studio personnel and clientele, and business audiences to be bold and take action to live their best life. A recovered self-hater, Courtney ultimately learned to love herself through movement. Her platform and top-ranked podcast, Fit, Fierce and Fabulous, have inspired thousands of women to practice self-love while reaching for and achieving big goals.

Sarah-Butler McKinney

Brand Panelist

Sarah-Butler McKinney is the Community Relations and Event Manager for the Kendra Scott store located in Raleigh, NC. Originally from Charleston, SC, she attended Clemson University where she earned her B.A. in Communication Studies. Upon graduation, she worked in the advertising industry, which is where she found her passion in event planning that ultimately led to her role at Kendra Scott. While working for Kendra Scott, she has worked closely with influencers, philanthropic organizations, corporations, social groups and community members to enrich the Kendra Scott brand in the Raleigh market. In 2017, Sarah-Butler led the Raleigh store to give back $29,451 to local and national organizations through the Kendra Gives Back program. Her favorite part of her role is working for a brand that celebrates a close-knit community, a giving heart and a colorful confidence.

Holly Boyd

Holly Boyd is the owner, creator and face behind Make Today a Hollyday, a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog based in Raleigh, NC where she lives with her husband and soon to be son.  Make Today a Hollyday is a place to express her personal style in fashion, beauty, and travel.  While fashion is the primary focus of Holly’s blog, beauty tips and tricks have her heart as she was a freelance makeup artist by trade who loves to share her current favorite products as well as tips and tricks. Holly strives to share positive and real-life imagery that inspires others to take chances and be the best version of themselves while taking fashion risks.

After more than a decade in the New York City public relations world, Amanda Berlin now uses her pitch powers for good. She helps entrepreneurs write their web content, tell their brand story, and spread their message in the media. Amanda and her clients have been featured in all types of media — from Business Insider to Entrepreneur on Fire and from WNYW Fox 5 to Bustle.com. She’s the creator of The PITCH School: Member Academy, which offers tools and strategy you need to go from hidden gem to recognized, trusted expert.

AdrinaRose is a trained broadcast journalist and entertainment writer with an eye for style, who understands brand marketing goals, and how to leverage the power of video and social media to amplify messaging and activate audiences. In addition to running AdrinaRose Media, Adrina has been a reporter, host, and producer for multiple outlets. In 2014, Adrina was the fashion correspondent for the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on behalf of KTLA 5 appearing on their Emmy award-winning morning news.

Adrina built up her professional skills at places like CBS’s Entertainment Tonight, ABC 7’s On The Red Carpet, KTLA 5, Icon House, Cornwell Casting, Unleash’d Magazine, Bask Magazine, and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. She has interviewed countless celebrities, socialites, and business entrepreneurs and has made her mark as an inquisitive reporter and storyteller willing to ask the bold questions her audience actually wants to hear.

We’re hosting the Style Collective Conference during the most lovely time of year: springtime. Raleigh boasts springtime weather in the sunny 60s, with plenty of bloom-filled parks, gardens, and public streets to explore (and feature in your Instagram pics!). As one of the fastest growing cities in the US, Raleigh will serve as the perfect retreat for you to learn how to grow your blog, define your brand, perfect your niche, and turn your new skills and strategies into actionable plans.

What does my ticket get me?

What do you get with your ticket? Well, more than we could ever list, but here are the main points. You have admission to two full conference days (Sat and Sun, April 14th and 15th, from 9:00am-5:00pm) with access to hands-on workshops, insightful panels, and bossbabe networking. You won’t go hungry – lunch is provided both days, and you can have all the coffee and snacks you need to get through the conference. We provide all workshop supplies and worksheets, plus a cute SC notebook and pen keepsake. Ticket holders will also receive an amazing gift box filled with tons of goodies, including the signature scent from the conference! Feeling extra? Our VIP ticket holders get front row seating for all speakers, panels, and workshops, and an invite to the VIP cocktail party on Saturday, April 14th, at the Cannon Room, with Annie and select speakers! Plus, tons of lovely photo ops for the ‘gram. Need we say more?

How is this different from other blogger conferences?

Each themed session will dive deep into the WHAT, WHY, and HOW, so you leave the conference feeling full of knowledge, not full of more questions. Following an inspiring opening keynote from Annie on Saturday morning, the conference will be filled with sessions on topics like branding, video content, and pitching, and will feature panels of expert influencers and brands with actionable advice you can implement right then and there. We’re still working hard to select our topics with care, and develop our curriculum to assist you in meeting your specific outcomes and objectives. Each session will include participation in a small group workshop or assisted planning session, so you walk away from this experience with your to-do list full of check marks.

Do I need to have my ID for check in?

Yes, we will need a government issued form of ID to check you into the VIP party and/or the conference on Saturday morning.

The conference is a big investment for me. Is it really worth the price?

Absolutely! This isn’t the typical conference where you walk away with a big to-do list (and no time to do it!) or advice that doesn’t specifically pertain to you and your blog (aka “here is how I grew three years ago but everything is different now!”). Most one-day conferences are $399-$499, and two-day conferences, double that. Between your flight, hotel, food, and the conference ticket, you will spend less than you would going to NY for NYFW. Our conference will only happen once a year, so think of it as an investment in your personal development and your business.

Return Policy: Can I return my ticket?

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Ticket transfers, exchanges, or credits are unavailable, as well.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Sadly, we can’t upgrade or downgrade tickets once they’ve been purchased.

Cocktail attire for our Saturday night VIP party and fashionable business casual during the day. Bring a light jacket for nighttime, too!

Will I be fed or will I be hangry?

You will be fed! We will provide coffee, snacks, and lunch each day, Saturday and Sunday.

We have 120 spots available on a first come, first served basis for our members.

Is the conference open to everyone?

Nope! SC Sisters only!

Where should I stay?

The AC Hotel in North Hills is a quick 7-mile ride to the conference hall! Includes free wifi, breakfast, fitness center, and access to Raleigh’s Midtown. Last day to book: 3/23/18
