International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Today, we are embodying the spirit of the holiday by bringing you a blog link-up party with our SC Sisters, plus words of encouragement from three Founding Members, who recently partnered with Nordstrom for an International Women’s Day clothing launch, to encourage you to follow your dreams!

Blog Link-Up Party

SC Members all over the world are answering these questions on their blogs today to celebrate International Women’s Day:

  • Introduce yourself, your blog, and tell us why you started it.
  • What is your personal mission statement?
  • What are some big goals that you’ve accomplished?
  • What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
  • What does being a member of Style Collective mean to you?
  • Tell us three fun facts about you and let’s celebrate the fearless woman that you are!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Words of Encouragement

We are so excited for three of our #SCSisters, Ruthie, Roselyn, and Chelsea, who have partnered with Gibson and Nordstrom for an International Women’s Day capsule collection. In addition to sharing their line, we also asked these lades, who have been in the blogging game for years, to share some words of encouragement.

“Always check your heart and your motives…. decide why you are blogging and lead from that space. Don’t be afraid embracing the art of creativity, expression and fully being yourself.  Lend a helping hand when you can and do not be afraid to ask for advice from those more experienced than yourself! ” – Ruthie

“Happy International Women’s Day to all of you hard working women out there! Women’s accomplishments are to be celebrated everyday but today make sure you take a moment to truly celebrate YOU. For all of your hard work and for all of your accomplishments, big and small. I know that being a blogger feels tough at times with the late nights and early mornings. Working that side hustle while you are still working that full time job and maybe even sometimes thinking “man, why didn’t I land that opportunity?” Trust me, I have been there girl. I am here to remind you that everything happens for a reason, that the hard work will pay off and that no matter how many influencers you think there are in the world, no one can be you and that’s what makes your blog and your influence so special! Don’t you forget that!” – Roselyn
